The second edition of the National HR Summit, organized by Daffodil International University under the theme "Transforming Bangladesh Using AI," concluded successfully. Bangladeshi IT company Orange Business Development Limited (OrangeBD) is now working on digitalizing the Philippines’ governance systems. On January 23, the Philippines’ local government minister and the UNDP’s Philippines head will officially inaugurate the project.
According to reports, OrangeBD is providing technological support for various e-governance projects of the Philippine government. So far, 14 citizen and business-related services have been digitized in 20 municipalities across one province, out of a total of 123 municipalities in the country. Gradually, all municipalities will become operational, and all citizen and business-related services will undergo a digital transformation.
